これまでにいろんな種類のクッキーを作ってきました。
そもそも、日本にいる時は自分で作るよりお店で買うことがほとんどでしたが、カナダに来てからは何もかも自分で作りようになりました。
外国のオーブンはとても大きく使いやすいので、自分で作ってみたいと言う気持ちが強くなったとは思います。
デイツを使ってマフィン、クッキー、ケーキは私のお気に入りです。
ドライフルーツを売ってるお店で必ず手に入ると思います。
For example:
My mouth is watering for this dates cookie.
A recipe for dates cookies –
First we make a dates paste. Take seeds out of dates and cut into small pieces (about 2 cups), and put in a cooking pot.
Add water and pomegranate juice into the pot.
Heat the pot until it becomes paste, for about 20minutes, then add a little nutmeg. Set aside.
In a large bowl, combine semolina flour, regular flour, sugar, melted butter and lightly mix.
In a separate small bowl, mix yeast with warm water and a little milk.
Add this yeast mixture, to the large bowl of semolina flour and mix well. Then, add the dates mix paste into the bowl. Wrap and leave for about 30 minutes.
Make little cookie sizes with the mixture onto a baking tray, and put it in the oven! Bake for about 12 minutes.

その時の気持ちを言葉で表現する時にぴったりですね。
口に入れるまでの瞬間を待てないウキウキ気分、口元が踊っている感じでしょうか。。
作るまでも楽しいのですが、試食に近づいてくる時は自然とこのフレーズが口から飛び出してきます。
